Jim & Constance VonFeldt launched Independent Appraisal Service in 2011, however, Jim has been providing Appraisals for the past 35 years, to Banks, Attorneys & Individuals. With a lifetime involvement on cattle ranching, Jim has been a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Kansas since 1983, specializing in Farm & Ranch sales, selling by private treaty, and at Auction - and since 2011 has been affiliated with Hamit Land & Auction Inc. of Stockton, Russell & Victoria.

The VonFeldt’s are the parents of 5 children, 5 grandchildren & 2 great- grandchildren, and reside in Victoria, Kansas.

Jim was involved in a large family farming & ranching enterprise with his father and 2 brothers. In 1979, Jim was involved in an auto accident, sustained a broken back, and was told by doctors that he may never walk again. During the long rehab, he decided to take and pass the Kansas Real Estate Exam to become a licensed real estate salesperson, not knowing what the future may bring.
